Cluj-Napoca Romania

Cluj-Napoca, Romania – 2024. Cluj-Napoca (with a metro population of a little more than 400,000). It is considered the unofficial “capital” of the historic region of Transylvania. It has existed since the 2nd Century when the Romans occupied the area. Modern day Cluj-Napoca is home to several Universities, several museums, many good restaurants and landmarks and buildings dating from the Saxon and Hungarian rule.
The building on the left is the Univer T Hotel where I stayed while in Cluj-Napoca. It is beside a small lake and park area.
